mi sembra di ricordare che quando installai magic lantern sulla 6d potevo anche vedere gli scatti effettuati con questa macchina.

io l'ho istallato e provato su 70D e mi da 2 numeri :
shot count : 5995
mirror up count : 6553
qual'è quello giusto?
invece con 1D MK4 non va

Installato EOSMSG: la 6D che ho preso usata ha fatto circa 15mila scatti in due anni, con il precedente proprietario... quindi, con i miei ritmi, raggiungerò i critici 100mila verso il 2025. Cool

che valore è il "Mirror up count" ?
Da quello che ho capito è il numero delle volte che si è alzato lo specchio, nella mia è sensibilmente più alto del numero di scatti.
Potrebbe essere dovuto all'uso in live wiev o ai pochissimi video che ho provato a fare?

Si. Sicuramente avrai usato alcune volte la funzione di sollevamento separato dello specchio. Lo si fa spesso in fotografia astronomica.

Ma nessuno di voi usa Linux? Io su 760d non sono riuscito a vedere nulla. Ho provato anche a caricare una foto su www.camerashuttercount.com e mi dice che "it looks like your camera doesn't supply the necessary information"
Che mi suggerite di fare?

Qualcuno di voi ha ancora il kit di istallazione di una versione più vecchia che era (e dovrebbe essere ancora) ad uso gratuito?

Provato www.camerashuttercount.com . Basta aspettare che venga caricata la foto poi emette il verdetto. Io ad esempio ho scoperto che in quattro anni compiuti a metà gennaio ho scattato 33.670 foto con una media di circa 8.400 foto all'anno. Quindi per raggiungere i 150.000 cicli di scatto dell'otturatore ci vogliono quasi 18 anni. Ma anche se avessi un otturatore di soli 100.000 cicli impiegherei quasi dodici anni per raggiungere il limite.
Come dire: ci facciamo troppe fissazioni con la durata dell'otturatore MrGreen

Forse hai usato una foto che non conteneva più i dati exif. Penso che per funzionare il programma richieda il file originale della foto. Io infatti ho usato un file jpeg così come scaricato dalla scheda di memoria.
