Fine anno dovrebbe uscire la prima beta di iridient per windows....
A suo tempo ..non avendo un pc apple..lo facevo girare in una macchina virtuale

Io sto valutando l'acquisto di una nuova macchina Apple o Windows e quindi devo aggiungerci anche il software. Pertanto le vostre opinioni mi interessano molto.

No, non lo è. Ha la migliore demosaicizzazione (ottimi dettagli, nessun effetto "acquarello") e un'ottima riduzione rumore. Punto.
Per tutto il resto preferisco ancora i due convertitori che IMHO sono il meglio del mercato commerciale: Lightroom e Capture One.

Nei test postati da Andyv Iridient è indubbiamente il migliore, tempo fa feci delle prove sia con Iridient che con Photoninja e mi ricordo che entrambi erano migliori di CameraRaw per quanto riguarda il dettaglio.

infatti, è il flusso di lavoro che fà la differenza, io a oggi uso PhotoNinja per demosaicizzare e tutto il resto in Photoshop CC ...
Specifico che questo flusso di lavoro lo uso solo per i miei lavori personali, solo per i file che provengono da sensori XTrans. Per i clienti solo ed esclusivamente Camera raw e photoshop perchè facendo conto terzi è importante adottare degli standard che devono essere rispettati nel tempo, poi, se un cliente vuole sperimentare (ma sono pochi) facciamo qualche prova ...

Sì, anch'io.

Se mi trovo a dover fare la color correction di centinaia di scatti, non ci penso nemmeno a complicarmi la vita con un workflow macchinoso....

Posto un raw, niente di artistico, fatto fuori casa, con tutti i software del mercato, con lo sviluppo in camera, anche con il jpg, a me sembra impastato, chi vuole post produrre questo raw? Giusto per capire dove sbaglio. Grazie
