secondo me è al limite per questa combinazione...se lo utilizzi con la testa sbloccata e tempi veloci (durante l'inseguimento del soggetto) dovrebbe andar bene, ma con tempi lenti penso che non sarebbe molto stabile.
l'unica incertezza che ho circa le teste a sfera riguarda la loro fruibilità nelle panoramiche con più scatti, in particolare nel riuscire a mantenere l'obiettivo orizzontale: è un timore infondato?
Dipende dal modello...la testa del BeFree è molto semplice e ha un singolo blocco per tutti e tre i movimenti, mentre altre teste a sfera più evolute permettono di ruotare la fotocamera in orizzontale bloccando gli altri movimenti, un esempio:

Avendo già un Manfrotto 055, mi serviva un articolo da portarmi in viaggio ed anch'io ho optato per il Sirui 1204 con testa G-10. Ho letto proprio ora che non è ammesso portarlo in stiva come bagaglio a mano (salvato in corner)

no, tieni conto che tutti i movimenti della testa vengono bloccati e sbloccati contemporaneamente, quindi non è il massimo per le situazioni dove bisogna unire più scatti.
AGGIORNAMENTO: di recente ho avuto modo di utilizzarlo spesso anche nella macro, mi ha colpito positivamente anche in questo campo. Ovviamente non ci si può aspettare la precisione di una testa micrometrica, ma è pienamente utilizzabile anche con macro 'pesanti' come il 180 Macro su 70D e 5D3. A questo punto penso di poter dire che il piccolo BeFree è promosso a mio treppiede di lavoro!
Rispetto al 190 (1.5kg) + testa 410 (1.2kg) il risparmio di peso è enorme, 1.4 kg invece che 2.7kg!
Juza il tuo articolo è estremamente interessante, soprattutto per me che sono al primo acquisto di un Treppiede..!!! Mi è stato consigliato rispetto al Be Free, il Manfrotto Black Magic 1130: h mass 146cm ; h min 24cm; chiuso 42cm; peso 1,3 Kg; portata 4,0Kg. Con bolla. Tu che ne pensi?? Grazie mille Dani
Il Black Magic 1130 è della Bilora, non Manfrotto... non conosco questa marca quindi non ti saprei dire se sia più o meno buono, io ho preferito restare su un marchio che conosco bene e mi ha sempre soddisfatto :-)
