Si funziona molto bene. Io lo uso con ottiche vintage fino a 135 mm. Diciamo che da 50 in su lo devi aiutare manualmente perchè i 4.5 mm di escursione sono un po' pochini per un 135mm. Però se tu ti porti nel range del fuoco a mano lui è veloce e preciso ad agganciare il fuoco.

Unica contro indicazione il prezzo. Mi sembra che costi un "botto". Dovrei anche comprare anello adattatore Zeiss Leica.
La domanda è lecita. ? Ma con le ottiche Vintage "manuali" serve proprio una assistenza autofocus ?

Me lo chiedo pure io, con ottiche luminose metto a fuoco con una discreta/buona percentuale di successo semplicemente usando l'EVF con il focus peaking, i cui punti colorati - rossi - non sempre si vedono bene però.
Però l'idea di poter utilizzare in AF, che so, lenti come le Nikon 85mm f/1.4 AI-S e 50mm f/1.2 AI-S, è allettante.

In MF (con l'ingrandimento) non si può sbagliare MF (con focus peaking, si eccome...).

Però vuoi mettere il relax di far fare tutto alla camera ...???

Altro dubbio è che questo sistema nasce per Leica. Quindi io compro un anello che integra Zeiss/Contax a Leica e poi il Techart Pro. Mi sembra un pò troppo...
Unico Vantaggio che da Onnik a Milano potrei andarlo a provare e poi decidere....

Io ho sia lenti leica m che r. Ho anche anello per nikon. Funziona tutto perfettamente.
Comunque non ci monterei delle ottiche troppo grandi e pesanti.
PS. Unica limitazione sono le ottiche con elementi flottanti

che all'interno hanno elementi che si muovono reciprocamente durante la messa a fuoco. Un esempio è il 75 summicron m.

un breve aggiornamento che può essere utile a qualcuno, la precisione del TAP aumenta moltissimo su a7MK2 con la sezione del af di grandezza media e non in singolo punto. Non è perfetto come la maf manuale ovviamente che mi permette di avere scatti perfetti anche a 1.2 (su soggetti statici) ma è già più che accettabile per l'immediatezza.
