Quello attuale di Sony è "lossy", quindi compresso con perdita, quello Canon è un compresso senza perdita, quello che implementerà Sony non ho capito se sarà completamente "uncompressed" o invece adotterà comunque una (minima) compressione senza perdita.

sempre a fini pratici cosa comporta aver in menu la scelta raw compresso e raw non compresso?

Ci sarà compresso lossy e non compresso per ora. Il non compresso può servire in situazioni critiche che possono generare artefatti

Mi pare di capire che al momento la versione per Mac non sia uscita... strano, di solito escono in contemporanea, credo dipenda dall'uscita della nuova versione di osx El capitan
