Riprendo questo vecchio post. Pensavo anch'io di acquistarlo, ma volevo sapere una cosa per me fondamentale: si può portare un bagaglio a mano in aereo? Lo prenderei solo per quello...

Io lo possiedo e lo ho usato con successo con la XT-1, vedo che alcuni lo utilizzano anche con la reflex..lo proverò anche su quella. Comunque costa poco ed è ben fatto.

Lo puoi portare tranquillamente nel bagaglio a mano, io lo ho portato diverse volte in diversi paesi e non mi hanno mai fatto storie.

Ti dico solo che regge a99 con vg e 24-70 f 2.8 zeiss... praticamente oltre 2 kg di macchinaMrGreen
Ovviamente necessita l'accortezza di superficie perfetta ed obiettivo in direzione di una gamba, ed ovviamente il mini treppiede non è fatto per tenere questi pesi.

E prendendo il clone cinese del Manfrotto DADO si spende quanto il Pixie (certo manca la testa ma alla fine che differenza!):

Con la versione a 6 pezzi (Manfrotto o clone) si possono fare altre cose tra cui un quadropod. Oltre che impiegarlo per quello per cui è nato.

Interessante Ilcentaurorosso . Però in quello su eBay mi pare che manchi un pezzo... sbaglio? Cioè, non solo la testa ma anche una quarta gamba da avvitare alla fotocamera. Magari non ho capito bene io come funziona.

Scusate sono indeciso tra il Manfrotto PIXI e il Manfrotto 708b.Io posseggo come fotocamera la idMkIII con obiettivi vari tra cui il 24-70,il tokina 16-28.secondo voi quale potrei comprare?

io alla fine mi sono orientato verso il 709b.
Ho una 5dIII che associo a 17-40 o 24-70. Non ho provato con il 70-200 2,8 II...comunque dalle specifiche dovrebbe tenere bene fino a 2kg..

acquistato il PIXI ieri e oggi provato con d300 18-105 e flash matz52, stabile nonostante il peso e le dimensioni, ottimo come base di emergenza da portare e usare su supporti stabili, cmq direi ottimo

oggi mi trovavo da Euronics a Savona, stavo guardando il pixi a cui pensavo da tempo e cosa mi capita? un 709b, nella confezione un'pò consumata e ingiallita ma al prezzo di 14,90€! Eeeek!!! ovviamente preso al volo MrGreen

A spanne, reflex e obiettivo fino a meta' della portata penso ok, poi la prima cosa che non va e' la testa. Non si apre i due ma puo' cedere anche impercettibilmente e nelle pose lunghe si nota...
