Sui costi dubito fortemente in quanto cosi' riescono ad ammortizzare fortemente i costi fissi vendendo macchine ad un pubblico piu' ampio (fotografi + videomaker) anziche' dover sviluppare un prodotto apposta

No, perché non c'è dell'hardware dedicato esclusivamente al video, solo del software.
Il risparmio sarebbe minimo e porterebbe solo a minor vendite perché coloro interessati (anche) al video guarderebbero altrove.

tutto dipende se la potenza di calcolo e data-rate permettono di implementare tale formato: si deve poter effettuare una certa quantita' di calcoli e si deve permettere ad una certa possibilita' di dati di transitare in certi tempi ... forse e' possibile forse no

In pratica secondo quelli di ML , una volta filmato in raw , effettuando un upscaling del girato sarebbe indistinguibile dal 4k...

con una cfast potrebbe significare un "motore" più potente, sulla raffica non penso, forse dimensione di pixel totali della foto? oppure il video4k ..... secondo me potrebbero essere queste le motivazioni per giustificare la cfast
