Questa foto l'ho scattata a 470 mt di distanza in linea d'aria, a mano libera, con lo Zenit MC 3M-5CA 500mm f/8
Scattata con la K5 che poi non è neanche abbastanza nitida, con una più moderna dà ancora più dettaglio!

Hai visto nella casa di fronte alla chiesa? Si legge quasi la scritta Stop nel carrello stradale, e la freccia in quello sotto, il tutto a 3km e mezzo di distanza, per un catadiottrico non mi pare davvero niente male

C'è anche da dire che i supertele non sono fatti per fotografare in distanza (anche se spesso li usiamo in quel modo...) perché la turbolenza atmosferica (heat waves) ne riduce enormemente la nitidezza.

Sì, ma non solo: già usando un tele moderato per il paesaggio (tipo 135mm) si nota che la perdita di nitidezza in lontananza è consistente, e comincia a essere un problema. E più la focale aumenta peggio va...

Infatti i militari usano gli infrarossi per evitare il problema della turbolenza d'aria calda (e della foschia in genere).

Oppure occorre attendere l'inverno artico ...
