Premesso che l'ho già ordinata mi pongo un problema.
Al netto della tendina "salvapolvere" la probabile mancanza del filtro passabasso avrà un impatto negativo sulla pulizia del sensore con gli swab?

Io uso la A7R IV al momento per paesaggistica col 12-24/2.8 GM e la trovo fantastica...aspetto la prima uscita con il 200-600 G;-)

Teoricamente potrebbe fare foto a 48mpx...poi ingegneristicamente da vedere se in effetti un semplice firmware possa essere sufficienti ad abilitare questa funzione...

Dalla foto sembra che anche la matrice bayer sia basata su 4 pixel affiancati, quindi niente scorciatoie facili per utilizzare il sensore a piena risoluzione. Certo che è una scelta strana, avere su ogni pixel dei 12M info su luminosità e colore sarebbe stato interessante...

Niente di strano!
Siccome si tratta di una fotocamera costosa che non verrà prodotta in grandi volumi è stato più facile, veloce e meno costoso usare un wafer già in produzione in binning x4 con una maschera Bayer ad hoc piuttosto che mettere in piedi una linea di produzione di wafer con pixel 4 volte più grossi...

Non credo che sia stato dichiarato da Sony.
La fonte che sostiene Like many of Sony's high-res full-frame cameras, the sensor in the A7 IV lacks an optical low-pass filter (OLPF) è:

Sarà come per la A7III, per alcuni ce l'aveva per altri no … Sony non ha dichiarato nulla in proposito!
Comunque la III ha il filtro AA!
