Quoto michelangelo in tutto e per tutto... anche di lenti più blasonate e costose.
Se potessi me lo ricomprerei domani.
E l'ho sostituito proprio con 70-200 II + 2xIII e sigma 500 f4.5 non proprio con fondi di bottiglia.

Scusate, le sto vedendo da ipad quindi non ne sono certo, ma nelle foto ad f8 specialmente in quelle con la 7d la messa a fuoco del 70-200 sembra sul cartellino, mentre col 100-400 sembra più sui "peletti" davanti. Nel caso poi diventa difficile valutare..

Anche io sono interessato alla resa del 70-200 duplicato, ma concordo sul fatto che da foto a 800px (che rappresentano meno di un sesto della risoluzione lineare, e circa il 2,6% dei mpx disponibili) si può giudicare solo la piacevolezza dello sfocato e un po' i colori...
Senza polemica, ma quando si cercano differenze comunque sottili io trovo limitanti anche i jpeg a piena risoluzione che vengono compressi dal web, ma dalle foto di Luca - che al 100% sono lunghe, sullo schermo del mio portatile, meno di 10cm(!) - riesco a capire veramente poco!Eeeek!!!

Se sei d'accordo che i peletti sono a fuoco forse ha agganciato male, dopotutto il peletto è davanti al cartellino, o c'è da fare una microregolazione.
E ti dico questo senza volerlo far diventare un discorso da "politica" SorrisoSorriso

il test è eseguito con maf manuale+liveview oppure autofocus?

Ho prima tarato gli obiettivi con af tool su entrambi i corpi e poi effettuata la maf in AF e verificata con il LV. Inoltre ho verificato in Dpp il visualizza il punto Af.

Grazie Luca del test da te fatto. Io ho deciso già da qualche tempo che con il nuovo anno acquisterò il 70-200, per i moltiplicatori aspetto e il 100-400 me lo tengo... ;-)

Hai ragione Blackshipp, ma mi sono dimenticato di dire che le tre foto con il 100 400 sono state fatte con la 1dx e quelli con il 70 200 duplicato sono fatte con la 7D ,che come tu sai benissimo ,hanno due sfocati mooooooooolto diversiMrGreenSorriso

Ottimo test Luca, io a suo tempo passai da 400 5.6 fisso a 70-200II con 2xIII senza grossi rimpianti...certo la spesa è maggiore ma hai tante cose in più...prima tra tutte il 70-200 non duplicato
