oggi mi è finalmente arrivato il fantomatico Nikkor 43-86mm del 1973, a quanto sembra la peggior lente mai realizzata dalla Nikon.
Aberrazioni a go-go... ma è tanto bellino!!!! Cool

Di quelle che ho provato le mie prerite sono il 105 f2.5, l'85 f2 e il meraviglioso Nikkor-s 5.8cm f1.4

si apprende che il Nikkor-N Auto 24mm f/2.8 è stato disegnato dal grande Yoshiyuki Shimizu:
"Il Dr. Shimizu era senz'altro molto qualificato, essendosi formato alla scuola del monumento vivente Zenji Wakimoto (col quale calcolò il famoso Nikkor-S 50/1,4) ed avendo già firmato importanti progetti come il Nikkor 24mm f/2,8, il Nikkor 35mm f/2, il Nikkor 6mm fisheye da 220° ed i vari Reflex-Nikkor catadiottrici esistenti all'epoca; fra l'altro Shimizu è anche il padre di un altro, celebre superluminoso Nikkor, il 35mm f/1,4, obiettivo che aveva già progettato nel 1967 e che richiese anni per la messa a punto fine precedente al lancio, più o meno contemporaneo a quello del 28mm. Il Nikkor 28mm f/2 fu completato nell'Agosto del 1970, ..."

Risale al 1968 ed è stato qui che Nikon ha introdotto il dispositivo CRC (Close Range Correction).

In seguito, nel 1977 col passaggio dal K all'Ai, ci fu una variazione dello schema ottico:

L'ho acquistato nel periodo della pandemia mentre tutti eravamo rinchiusi.

Ciao Skylab59 ed a tutti.
Ho appena preso una bellissima Nikon F2S e devo procurarmi il primo obiettivo, per me imprescindibilmente un 50mm. Sono assolutamente novizio nel mondo Nikon e mi stavo orientando verso il Nikkor S-Auto 50mm 1.4, del quale mi pare indiscutibile la bontà. Gli immediati successori (pre-AI, AI?) come si comportano a confronto? Non vorrei generare un enorme off-topic per cui non mi dispiacerebbe un seguito di questa discussione, o anche in parallelo, dove si disquisisca di Nikon F2 e relative lenti.
Caro Skylab59, mi sa che ti tocca procurarti - a meno che tu non già non ce l'abbia - una Nikon F2.....Sorriso Non vorrai mica lasciarmi con questi dubbi!
