Murpy mi è sembrato di capire che L3 ed L4 sono due programmi differenti, cioè non uno evoluzione dell'altro e che quindi il 3 sarà ancora supportato e migliorato...è così ? Grazie

Sulla carta il 3 avrà ancora bugfix e sviluppi, il 4 è l'evoluzione ma sarà venduto a parte.
In passato ti vendevano che la nuova versione risolveva tutti i bug ed aveva nuove features.
Per esempio il dam è 3 anni che lo spacciano per completato

Per me l'unico neo di Luminar 3 è che vuole un PC fortemente potenziato di CPU e Memoria. Con il mio MacBook Pro e I5 la lentezza è sopportabile, ma con iMac 21 del 2013 diventa esasperante. Spero che la versione 4 sopperisca questo difetto. Per il resto è simile a LR (che ho usato per anni) con qualche cosa in più e qualcosa in meno.

Mi sapete dire per Luminar se la libreria é semplicemente un record di file immagine salvati altrove o se vengono copiati e aggiunti di fatto in essa i file immagine?

A mio modo di vedere, Luminar 3 è un plugin da usare con Lightroom più che un software autonomo.

Rispondo a Nessunego:
Quando importi un'immagine puoi copiarla o selezionarla per le modfiche. Ritengo quindi che se la 'la copi' crei un doppione di immagine nella libreria di Lum3. Aumentando lo spazio memoria occupato

anche io avevo problemi di crash con Luminar 3 e ho contattato l'assistenza, mi hanno fatto scaricare un programmino che va a vedere eventuali incompatibilità tra i driver della scheda video e il software, mi hanno fatto cancellare i driver e reinstallarli, per ora non ho più avuto crash... speriamo!
