Giuliano, io lo uso su 7D2 con 1.4x III e l'af funziona perfettamente sul punto centrale. mi sembra incredibile che in Canon ti abbiano detto il contrario

No non cocciamo per niente

Io ce li ho e sono due ottiche con delle caratteristiche ed usi diversissimi
Il 70-200 f,2,8 e' un'ottica che va bene per ritrattistica, sport indoor, e quando hai poca luce. Ma su FF e' CORTISSIMO se vuoi fare avifauna.

Il 100-400 II e' una lente eccellente ed anche moltiplicata va bene.

Questa e' con su 5DsR crop quasi al 100% (ero lontanissimo) 100-400 II con 1,4 III - Non mi pare male

dipende dall'uso...probabilmente non li fai convivere nello stesso zaino! Io ho fatto una scelta differente...ho venduto il 70-200 MKII e preso il 100-400 MKII e un 135 Sigma....
Comunque sia il 100-400 è una bomba e, si, funziona benissimo con l'1.4 sia come resa (incredibile) sia l'AF su 5 mkIII e 5 Dsr
Ah...nel confronto tra 135 sigma e 100-400 canon il secondo non sfigura affatto
