Devo dire che scegliere è stato molto difficile perché non sono portato a fare il giudice, ho scelto per empatia tenendo poco conto della realizzazione tecnica. Tutte le foto sono meritevoli e anche chi le guarda troverà il proprio sorriso preferito perché il mio è solo un punto di vista.

Al terzo posto il sorriso di “Maria Dulce” di Italo Polce. Una bambina che si apre al mondo con fiducia, innocenza e infinita dolcezza. La foto non è perfetta dal punto di vista tecnico, ma trasmette la spontaneità, la dolcezza e la simpatia che solo le anime pure possono avere.

Al secondo posto “Ritratto di pescatore” di Mirkopetrovic. Il sorriso è un po' forzato e forse anche posato, ma è significativo perché nel volto riarso dal sole si legge la sofferenza per una vita piena di sacrifici, nonostante tutto però c'è la forza di continuare a lottare e il suo sorriso alla fine è comunque gioviale e positivo.

Al primo posto”per me” la foto di Maurizio Barina “1986 Togo”. Fra le tante belle immagini di sorrisi “moderni”mi ha colpito un'immagine di quasi quaranta anni fa, forse il ragazzo che sorride sdentato non è neanche più vivo, ma mi colpisce l'ingenuità del suo sorridere, nonostante la sua condizione. La sua maglietta è lisa, lurida e bucata, tiene in braccio un bastone (o un arco) e un machete, sono attrezzi da lavoro però li porta con garbo, niente giochi spensierati, ma una vita dura per la sopravvivenza. Un'immagine forse anacronistica, tuttavia è una testimonianza viva, un documento che travalica il tempo. Bravo il fotografo a riproporla e a presentarla come esempio di sorriso.

Complimenti a Maurizio per il meritatissimo podio, ma anche a Mirko e Italo.
Bravo Emme per un giudizio dato col cuore, ma ben motivato. In un momento in cui si guarda molto, troppo secondo me, alla tecnica, hai giustamente privilegiato i contenuti e quello che secondo il tuo sentire la foto ti trasmetteva.
