Io uso il tamron 500, secondo me sulle medie distanze e' dignitoso per quello che costa,ma confermo la difficoltà di messa a fuoco e di utilizzo a mano libera.

io ho da una vita il Tamron 500/8 sp per me è una buona lente .. se usato bene riesce a dare delle soddisfazioni.

Beh, forse l'idea di scattare a mano libera con questo tipo di ottiche (500mm, non stabilizzato) sarebbe da escludere in partenza...

No, col 500 mm. Si può scattare a mano libera. Io lo feci anche con le Ektachrome 64 e roba simile. Ci vuole però una giornata luminosa. Però le diapositive ottenute con lo MTO500 e col Tamron proiettate in sequenza con altre riprese con ottiche a lenti e di focali meno spinte erano evidentemente di qualità inferiore, e non certo per la ripresa a mano libera. Con le diapositive non c' era scelta. Con la negativa conveniva ritagliare le foto fatte con un 200mm.

Oggi, col digitale, variare gli ISO durante le riprese non è un problema ed il decadimento della qualità che si può riscontrare alle sensibilità più alte e inferiore a quello provocato dall'uso del catadiottrico.

Sicuramente siete abituati a meglio, ma io per 115€ usato su una 42 mpx mi accontento.

Tutto si può fare, però, a meno di non voler fare foto solo in pieno giorno in una giornata serena (che è un po' limitativo, direi: col brutto tempo si fanno foto meno noiose), se mi mettessi nella borsa un 500mm diciamo che mi porterei anche almeno un monopiede. Perché poi è brutto vedere una foto che avrebbe potuto essere davvero buona rovinata dal micromosso.
