L'illuminatore del trigger X1t-S funziona perfettamente, ce l'ho e l'ho provato, mentre l'illuminatore del flash, essendo IR non funziona.
Riguardo al trigger, deve avere il firmware aggiornato e va fatta una impostazione, purtroppo non indicata sul manuale di istruzioni, se serve la posto.
Io ho l'A7II, ma dovrebbe valere per tutti i modelli.

Riprendo questo mio messaggio preso da altro forum, quello ufficiale Sony, in cui sono stato aiutato ad arrivare alla soluzione.

Ho provato così:

1) premuto per 5 sec ch/ok
2) compare Fn 00 00, sulle tre linee del display
3) ho girato la rotellina finché sulla seconda riga 00 non è diventato 10
4) ho premuto il tasto GR, la linea inferiore ha iniziato a lampeggiare
5) ho girato la rotellina finché 00 non è diventato 01

Stavo per scrivere "però non funziona", poi ho un po' trafficato accendendo e spegnendo trigger e macchina ed ora va.

Ho notato con piacere che interagisce anche con la macchina: a trigger acceso l'illuminatore del corpo non si accende anche se è messo su ON, che mi sembra giusto. Naturalmente con trigger ON e illuminatore trigger OFF, non si accende nulla.

Piuttosto ho notato una cosa curiosa, con il flash separato dalla macchina e comandato dal trigger, la motorizzazione della parabola funziona in maniera "prudenziale": a 28 mm si posiziona su 24, a 50 mm su 35 e a 70 mm su 50. Probabilmente è voluto perché il flash manovrato a mano potrebbe non puntare esattamente sul soggetto.

A me ha funzionato esattamente come ho scritto, quindi funzione 10 su 01.
Almeno nel caso di Sony A7, nel filmato leggo Fuji
