Guarda che io possiedo il Sigma 8-16, ti credo ma semplicemente non posso spendere migliaia di euro per guadagnare sette gradi di campo in più, me ne farò una ragione e mi accontento.

Direi che l'unica controindicazione di quella lente sia il fatto che usata sia introvabile e quindi bisogni sborsarsi tutti i soldi per prenderla per forza nuova.
A parte questo non ricordo se hai canon o nikon, ma ti ricordo che su canon perdi esposimetro e conferma af, cosa che lo rende scomodo da usare, su nikon nessun problema, dovrebbe funzionare come una lente mf.

Non ha il chip e se la macchina non sa che diaframma stai usando non puo calcolare l'esposizione.
É un problema delle lenti mf come i samyang o lenti adattate su canon.

Io lo uso su Pentax K 3, ho la conferma della messa a fuoco, il focus peaking in live view e l'esposimetro riesce a leggere la luce che viene dall'obiettivo. Alle brutte faccio uno scatto, vedo come viene e correggo di conseguenza.

io su canon ho l'8 mm fisheye, bella lente per quello che costa, ma indubbiamente il non avere l'esposimetro è un bell'handicap, praticamente ne compromette quasi totalmente l'uso street. Solo che un fisheye si usa poco, mentre un ultrawide personalmente è la lente principale del corredo e per 400 euro averla senza esposimetro è una bella menata.
