bisognerebbe vedere se il profilo è presente nel software eos utility, poi dovesse mancare nella fotocamera basta caricarlo da pc... ma non riesco a trovare informazioni sul database del programma

Su DPP c'è, quindi Canon (ma non mi sorprende MrGreen

) ce l'ha.

Puoi provare ad attaccare la fotocamera al PC e lanciare "EOS Lens Registratrion Tool".

In pratica ti consente di fare quello che fai su DPP scaricando i profili lente, ma lo fai sulla fotocamera. E suppongo proprio che l'effetto finale sia il poter applicare la DLO in camera (quello che è consentito ovviamente) dalle impostazioni dei menu.

si, è presente nei profili lenti e sulla vecchia 6D viene riconosciuto l'obiettivo in questione Sorriso

Ok grazie, non conoscevo eos lens registration tool , me lo segno ;-)

Poi già che ci sono, cn quel programma si può attivare su certi obbiettivi anche "ottimizza lente digitale" ( si chiama cosi? non ricordo) , esempio con la eos R e 100mm f/2 c'era la correzione in camera di aberrazione, distorsione e ill. periferica mi pare , ma da ottimizza lente digitale c'era dati correzione non disponibili ..

Non lo ho il 24-85 ma mi incuriosiva visto il basso prezzo MrGreen

Oddio però forse ho chiamato le cose col nome sbagliato: DLO è la correzione in DPP e nelle EOS R (che la possono fare in camera come la fa la tab della DPP)... nelle "vecchie" - perdonami povera reflexina mia MrGreen

- si può solo fare correzione dell'illuminazione periferica e poco altro...
