Allora...ho rivisto i raw a mente fredda. Confermo che fino a 200mm è nitido come il 70-200ISII (no, quest'ultimo non impallidisce...); ciò è ottimo ma non mi meraviglia, ricalca un po' la resa del 100-400ISII, che alle focali sovrapponibili va come lo zoom più corto e luminoso.
A 300 e 400mm, la resa resta comunque molto alta (non saprei dire se al livello del corrispondente Canon, a sensazione, un filo meno), forse un leggero calo si avverte allontanandosi (basta poco) dalla zona centrale del fotogramma; ma da una prova fugace fatico a formulare un giudizio definitivo. Restano in ogni caso focali utilizzabilissime a tutta apertura, in tutti i contesti.
Di sicuro io non c'ho trovato il "crollo" che riporta Lenstip, magari gli sarà capitata una copia meno fortunata.

Sicuramente questo obiettivo darà il meglio entro certe focali, com'è normale che sia. Quel che bisogna capire è la qualità generale nel suo complesso. Ma solo usandolo sul campo si avranno dei riscontri in tal senso. Ora che qualche utente lo possiede sapremo finalmente quanto vale il 100-400.

ieri sera ho aggiunto alcune foto di motocross e alcune fatta con la em5/2 al link dropbox che avevo messo e a parte le mie difficoltà nell'uso del tele ho riscontrato che a 400mm a tutta apertura su soggetti non tanto lontani è abbastanza nitido mentre su soggetti in lontananza la situazione peggiora ma penso dipenda dall'aria calda e dall'umidità , e come ha scritto Otto bisogna stare particolarmente attenti con i tempi di scatto

Mi spiace Andrea ma scatto solo nel bistrattato jpeg e vedo che mi basta...mi diverto così, con buona pace dei crop al 200%,recupero ombre,gamma dinamica espansa ed amenicoli vari...è un mio limite!!!
Comunque appena posso posterò qualche "bestiaccia" se il tempo (tiranno) me lo permetterà!!
