Io ho avuto lo stesso problema di MAF inconsistente e malgrado decine di prove, il dock, aggiornamenti firmware ecc. nulla, metteva a fuoco "a caso". L'ho mandato in assistenza. Mi hanno sostituito il sensore (di maf immagino) in garanzia. Tornata insieme alla 5d MkIII ho comunque dovuto impostare un +8 in macchina perché sistematicamente avevo front focus. Ora la messa a fuoco è precisa. A f1.4 comunque ho notato che è molto utile usare la modalità AI SERVO poiché il margine di errore è alto per la ridotta pdc. Questo il mio caso, non è detto che voi dobbiate eseguire la stessa procedura tramite il centro Sigma. Credo che per molti basti una semplice taratura in macchina o eventualmente tramite dock.

La ghiera di messa fuoco non è libidinosamente fluida come nei migliori manual focus ma è abbastanza frenata da poter essere usata bene. Questo obiettivo è meccanicamente ben costruito, abbastanza robusto e pesante a confronto con l'omologo Canon

Grazie per l'informazione, magari in settimana provo a chiamarli (previa verifica delle garanzie). Come dicevo prima se riuscissero almeno a renderlo omogeneamente a + 10 non sarebbe un problema.
Concordo anche sulla questione dell'uso in AI servo, con una ridottissima prof di campo, il fatto di mettere a fuoco e reinquadrare può causare un errore se si corregge tanto l'inquadratura.
