Il 400 2,8 FL è circa 50gr più leggero del Canon.
L' 800 5,6 è una cosa indescrivibile: fai una foto a 100mt la croppi 1:1 e la risultante sembra una foto fatta col 50mm..... S P E T T A C O L A R E !!!!!! Penso che se potrò li comprerò entrambi.

Meno male che fotografo solo tra i tre ed i 12 metri e non riesca materialmente a fare crop MrGreen

. Battutacce scusate ma è realmente così MrGreen

Posto per "comparativa" uno scatto effettuato con il Canon 400 2,8 II e Eos 1Ds MKIII, non mi pare che sia molto diverso come sostanza.

Interessante Nikon che ha iniziato a produrre lenti alla fluorite da due anni (perché prima a detta loro la fluorite non serviva ad una benamata fava) adesso le fa anche meglio di Canon MrGreen

A parte che resto dell'idea che la mano che li progetta sia la stessa, è possibile avere un raw di questo fantomatico 800mm che da 100mt croppato 1:1 sembra un 50mm? O restiamo nella sfera dei proclami? Grazie.

Sai che c'è Josh che Nikon al pari del FF, dei 12MPX e della fluorite ha sempre inventato simpatiche frottole per giustificare il lack tecnologico in alcuni specifici aspetti. La fluorite è solo l'ultimo "inseguimento".

Da Nikon.com:
Nikon developed ED (Extra-low Dispersion) glass to enable the production of lenses that offer superior sharpness and color correction by minimizing chromatic aberration.
Put simply, chromatic aberration is a type of image and color dispersion that occurs when light rays of varying wavelengths pass through optical glass. In the past, correcting this problem for telephoto lenses required special optical elements that offer anomalous dispersion characteristics - specifically calcium fluoride crystals. However, fluorite easily cracks and is sensitive to temperature changes that can adversely affect focusing by altering the lens' refractive index.
So Nikon designers and engineers put their heads together and came up with ED glass, which offers all the benefits, yet none of the drawbacks of calcium fluorite-based glass. With this innovation, Nikon developed several types of ED glass suitable for various lenses.
They deliver stunning sharpness and contrast even at their largest apertures. In this way, NIKKOR's ED-series lenses exemplify Nikon's preeminence in lens innovation and performance.

Ora si scopre che la fluorite qualche utilità ce l'ha ... e che forse aver fatto bianchi i tele aiuta a non trasmettere calore a queste delicate lenti. Quindi occhio al caldo ....

Per il resto sicuramente un ottica eccellentissima ... come tutti i prime tele Canon e Nikon.

Io da utente Canon che usa obiettivi alla fluorite da 30 anni mi chiedo: realizzare obiettivi in fluorite in colore nero non ne riduce la vita e le prestazioni ottiche in condizione di caldo estivo tropicale? Eeeek!!!

Nikon avrà fatto i suoi ragionamenti sulla cosa. Dubito metta nelle mani dei professionisti ottiche che si squagliano al sole.

Non c'è nessuna comunicazione Nikon al riguardo? Perché la fluorite si dilata col calore: un obiettivo nero poggiato a terra al sole d'estate non causa problemi se contiene grosse lenti in fluorite? Se fossi un utente Nikon intenzionato ad acquistare uno dei nuovi obiettivi mi informerei bene al riguardo. Eeeek!!!
