Il fotografo e la città che si specchia

Stava arrivando il tramonto e camminavo a passo veloce lungo la sponda del fiume Meno, con il treppiede da viaggio sulla spalla e la fotocamera già agganciata, impostata e pronta a scattare. Volevo raggiungere il ponte che avevo scelto nel pomeriggio per fotografare la skyline di Francoforte. Calcolavo i minuti, la distanza, la luce. Ero convinto di essere in ritardo, in realtà sarei arrivato con largo anticipo, come sempre. Poi ho notato un ragazzo accucciato sul bordo dell'acqua: cercava di fotografare i riflessi con lo smartphone. Ho proseguito per qualche passo, poi mi sono fermato, ho fatto dietrofront. Ho appoggiato il cavalletto a terra, ho controllato rapidamente l'inquadratura e ho scattato. Meno di un secondo di esposizione. Lui non si è accorto di nulla, e io mi sono sentito silenzioso come una volpe artica in caccia. Una foto di street nata al volo, quasi per caso, ma che per composizione, luce e colore mi convince sempre di più ogni volta che la riguardo.
