Per volatili fermi su ramo, che siano uccellini o rapaci, io uso centro spot + inseguimento, che ho messo su "impostazioni 1" della fotocamera e richiamo, al momento dello scatto, con il pulsante personalizzato dell'obiettivo. Certo, se si tratta di uccellini con partenza veloce non è facile che l'AF lo segua. L'area AF "zona" con inseguimento per uccelli in volo.

Confrontare un AF di una A7IV con l'AF di una A9ll non ha nessun senso.

Sono due corpi molto molto e molto diversi.

La A9ll è un corpo per i pro,
per foto sportiva, avifauna, e soggetti molto dinamici
mentre la A7IV per un uso solo amatoriale generico:
non ha lo stesso 'real tracking' ...

per me il tracking della a7iv è qualcosa di sublime, mi dispiaccio solo dei soli 10fps. se quello della A9ii è superiore forse mi conviene iniziare a riempire il salvadanaio...

cmq con oggetto piccolo e sfondo confuso (erba ecc) anche a me è successo che agganciasse lo sfondo e non l'animale anche se aveva riconosciuto l'occhio. sono cmq errori di af minimali rispetto agli scatti totali portati a casa.
(per quanto mi riguarda passando da nikon reflex a sony ho migliorato in maniera sostanziale la percentuale di errore af).
