Il 17 non l'ho avuto, ma a vedere le foto mi sembra che abbia una resa un po' duretta, ovvero molto contrastata, che ad alcuni può piacere. In generale le Zuiko sono più dure delle controparti Panasonic e Leica. Io tendo a preferire la resa Panasonic e in particolare Leica ma sono gusti personali.
Ignorerei alcuni commenti circa la mancanza di nitidezza, perché tutte le ottiche moderne sono ipernitide, a meno di non pescare un esemplare fallato.
La costruzione del 17 è premium, perciò migliore di quella del 20 e anche l'AF è migliore. Ha un bel barilotto metallico con la ghiera che scatta per la messa a fuoco manuale veloce.

Circa il 14 che è stato menzionato, l'ho avuto due volte, ma a me non mi ha entusiasmato, probabilmente non è la mia focale.

Mi è appena arrivato il 20 1.7 della Panasonic e ne sono davvero molto contento, tutto sommato l'autofocus è lento ma non inutilizzabile, unico problema reale un rumore assurdo! Rispetto al 12-32 noto la differenza anche di giorno!
