Capisco i punti di vista e mi state facendo cambiare idea ? I pareri in fondo si chiedono anche per questo.
Prima di questo accrocchio valutavo l'ingranditore della intrepid, compatto e ripongo tutto quando ho finito, ma si parla di ben altre cifre e ho letto di non pochi sbattimenti nell'allinearlo ogni volta, finirei per non usarlo.
Mi sa che mi limito al MF, magari per chiudere il cerchio cerco un discreto proiettore per diapositive 6x6

proiettore è la scelta migliore. Il proiettore e l'ingranditore è la stessa cosa circa. la proiezione sarebbe più economica fruibile e spettacolare.

“ Mah non ne farei una questione di movimenti, secondo me un banco 4x5 è ugualmente un compromesso di costi e opportunità, se devo girare con tutto il malloppo, mettermi sul cavalletto (un cavalletto serio non un manfrottino come il mio), perdere mezzora a focheggiare col loupe sul vetro smerigliato, spippolare con le manopoline per trovare la giusta posizione di tutti gli elementi etc etc allora tanto vale che sia almeno 8x10 MrGreen vero che se poi si vuole stampare in una dimensione maggiore è dura trovare chi ti ingrandisca l'8x10.
Il 4x5 lo vedo più su una press camera che possa essere usata volendo anche a mano libera, ma allora anche lì i movimenti sono pari a zero.
Se mi sbaglio mi corrigerete! „

Allora, che sia un compromesso sì, ma è un compromesso spostato molto, molto verso l'alto. Credo tu ne abbia una visione un po' viziata. Un 8x10" invece è pure troppo specialistica, non ha compromessi, sia per i costi, per il peso, per gli accessori, per per la quantità di luce necessaria se vuoi chiudere un po' il diaframma.
Una 4x5" press camera aveva una funzione specifica un tempo, avere un negativo usabile senza ingrandimento.
Ma una 4x5" genera negativi per stampe enormi, non la sottovaluterei.
