Ma quindi poi le foto che verranno caricate andranno in unico calderone???

Non riesco bene a capire. Attualmente io carico le foto che sono in directory specifiche... Poi da amazon photos andando in drive trovo la mia struttura directory.

Questa sparirà m tutte le foto verranno comunque caricate in photos?

Blackblaze ha alzato i prezzi da 6 a 7 euro. Secondo me fino a 10 ci sta come servizio. Come dicevo ci metterei video, timelapse e drone....

capito... il che potrebbe diventare un problema in caso di restore... trovandosi con unica directory locale piena di migliaia di foto.

Resta il problema della sostituzione del servizio/costi/nuovo upload. Che credo sia un po' quello sul quale tutti fanno leva.

Il timore è quello di essere fidelizzato e poi trapanato nel di dietro da altri servizi MrGreen

Anche io come alcuni di voi mi sono trovato benissimo con drive poichè l'archiviazione che cerco è la più pulita possibile senza i fronzoli che offre photos. Per pulita intendo che rinomino io le cartelle con data formato americano e piccola descrizione del contenuto. Il tutto visualizzato come esplora risorse di win o finder del mac.
Mi basta così e non chiedo altro.
Scaricando l'app di photos su mac e giocandoci un pò ho visto che per il backup e il download cambia poco, anzi, offrendo alcuni settaggi che drive non offre, l'upload mi è sembrato leggermente più rapido.
Il problema arriva quando vado nella sezione album e non ne vedo neanche uno. Questo perchè vanno creati uno ad uno Triste.
Su drive avevo anche il backup del mio sito composto da file php css js e quant'altro e non so se e come photos li gestirà.
La considerazione finale è che su drive avevo più "sotto controllo" la situazione, mentre su photos non è così.

Il servizio che ho trovato permette la sottoscrizione per due anni quindi 2024 e 2025.cosa succederà dopo nessuno lo sa.
Potremmo tempestare amazon di email... E minacciare di togliere il prime ma non penso che cambieranno idea

Si. Spero mi dicano che possono trasferire i dati da amazon. Cosi comincio il trasferimento

Potrei aggiornare il 1°,post inserendo il nome dei servizio ed il costo. Se ne conoscete altri, scriveteli

Ma perché, esiste la possibilità che lo trasferiscano loro da cloud a cloud in qualche modo? Eeeek!!!
Non credo lo fornisca nessuno questo come servizio...
