Infatti l'avevo scritto nella descrizione (quella che quasi nessuno legge MrGreen ):
"Sbizzarritevi con le vostre migliori foto di fulmini (effettivamente adesso che sto pensando a cosa scrivere nella descrizione noto che è un po' difficile fotografare un tuono!)"

lo avevo letto;-)ma il fatto è che vi è differenza tra un fulmine e una saetta e alcuni hanno messo una foto di saette al posto dei fulmini e quindi almeno che non si modifichi il titolo sono fuori tema :-P

Medicinaonline non è la Treccani, è dal punto di vista vocabolaristico mi fido della seconda, che li riporta tranquillamente come sinonimi linguistici.
Il vocabolo indentifica, fra le sue varie accezioni, una scarica elettrica atmosferica, che poi dal punto di vista strettamente meteorologico (anche se di conferme meteorologiche non ne ho trovate a questa distinzione) le cose siano diverse direi che per il contest è profondamente ininfluente (un cubano e un toscanello sono entrambi sigari ;-)).
