Ho da tempo il 100-400 II e in effetti è un'ottica di notevole qualità, e ovviamente non posso che consigliartelo caldamente, se però prevedi di adoperarlo a 400 mm e oltre più di quanto lo adopereresti da 400 mm a scendere allora ti consiglio di cercare altro.

E nell'altro lascerei perdere i vari 150-600 e prenderei il Sigma 60-600 che con quella escursione focale, e con quella qualità, è da considerarsi alla stregue di un'ottica definitiva.

Io invece starei su un Tamron 150-600 o un sigma contemporary.....il 60-600 p ml pesa troppo!
La foto di pierino64 con il 100-400 moltiplicato è ottima ma il soggetto è posato e vicino.... Quasi tutte le ottiche fanno bene...
Il 100-400 moltiplicato per me perde nitidezza sulle distanze più lunghe ma sopratutto fa perdere consistenza all'af anche di una buona macchina come la 5d4...sulla 7d2 per me ad esempio era inusabile per il fatto che perdeva tutti i punti af tranne il centrale e i 4 limitrofi e perché oltre che consistenza perdeva reattività sull'af....
Ribadisco... Se si fa principalmente avifauna uno zoom 150-600 è preferibile a un 100-400 moltiplicato....
Altra storia se uno fa caccia vagante in posti come il gran paradiso...ma anche lì se becchi il gipeto in 150-600 potrebbe darti migliori risultati....

Rita	sent on 12 Maggio 2020 (10:25) Concordo con Angus, Sigma C o Tamron G2, zoom economici, leggeri, tuttofare. Non bisogna pretendere troppo da loro, se si pretende allora si deve cambiare oggetto e prendere un ottica fissa.
