Io non conosco Nikon, ma... i 2 scatti son stati fatti nelle medesime condizioni di luce (i due istogrammi sono uguali).?
I 2 raw sono a "zero" riduzione rumore per entrambe le macchine?

Il problema secondo me sorvolando tutto il resto è che il file della d850 ha iltallone di achille di generare rumore per via dei 45mp...

RAW M o riduci in pp e non hai problema di rumore fino a 6400-8000 ISO.

@Oscar la luce totale che arriva a qualsiasi sensore è fissata da Ev, più è basso, più luce arriva. Il tuo Ev è 14.93, cioè sicuramente troppo alto anche per un super-sensore come quello della D850.
Poi con 400 ISO ti sei già precluso 2.33 stop di dinamica. Quando temi di non leggere le ombre: ISO 64 o 100 e un Ev "umano". Occhio anche al micromosso, ovviamente. ;-)

Davvero strano.. scatto spesso a iso anche più alti e non ho mai avuto problemi di rumore... mi piacerebbe vedere il raw

Risposta: sí, se scatti in RAW M o RAW S il rumore si riduce. Ma puoi ottenere lo stesso risultato ridimensionando in post produzione le dimensioni del file.
