non il massimo ma può bastare se vai in oasi o in capanno, se invece devi fare caccia sei probabilmente corto

Il 100-300 ne esce molto bene! Ed il nuovo è tropicalizzato, miglior af e miglior stabilizzazione... da qualche recensione sembra anche migliore resistenza alle ac...

Per 550€ su Amazon non sembra affatto male

Sapete che forse mi accontento e mi prendo il 100-300ii !?

Vi spiego il mio ragionamento...

Il 100-400 costa molto per le volte che lo userei e non mi convince al 100%.

Siccome mi piace stare leggero, in futuro vorrei prendermi il 35-100 2.8 pana, piuttosto del 40-150. Mi spaventano un pò le dimensioni per un uso in vacanza...

è quello che ho fatto io, il 35-100 2.8 che è ottimo anche per ritratto e 100-300II per le poche occasioni che ho bisogno di un tele più spinto.

Se sulla oly ho l'IS auto e monto il pana 100-300ii con IS attivo sulla lente.
La oly si arrangia da sola a disabilitare l'IS in macchina o devo ricordarmi io?

Io ho fatto il tuo giro e purtroppo nella Camargue con il 40-150 ero corto.
Dovessi riandare sicuramente porterei minimo un 300mm

Per avere un idea. Queste in oasi con 40-150 anche moltiplicato. Fuori ti serve minimo il doppio della focale, come puoi vedere altri scatti nello stesso album.

Alla fine ho preso il 100-300ii e ne sono entusiasta!!!

Qua ho caricato un pò di foto, tutte a mano libera, in natura camminando per le campagne, tutte o quasi a 300mm, con pochissima postproduzione (riduzione rumore, ombre, luci, crop) e tutte fatte con e-m5ii:
