Bene ,quindi mi state confermando che è un buon obiettivo;-)
sulla stessa focale uso già con soddisfazione il nikon 35-70 ai f/3.5 sia in analogico che in digitale ma suppongo che siano completamente diversi nella resa.

io ne ho due ma non SP; ho sia il 200 f3.5 che il 135 f2.5 con attacco canon eos; mi sembrano dei gran begli obiettivi; qualcuno li ha usati per foto di stelle?

Bene, mi avete fatto venire la curiosità e devo andare a vedere nella vecchia borsa di 40 anni fa i due obiettivi Tamron Adaptall II rimasti: un 28mm ed uno zoom 80-210 a pompa, ma credo che fossero della serie amatoriale.
Comunque verifico.

Grandissima ottica il Tamron SP 17/3,5!
Venne costruito in due versioni, la prima denominata Modello 51B includeva a bordo dell'obiettivo i tre principali filtri per il bianco e nero di piccolo diametro, che potevano essere utilizzati uno per volta azionando una ghiera, mentre il secondo tipo, il Modello 151 B, non aveva più i filtri per motivi di economicità e poteva montare filtri a vite da 82mm.
E' stato a lungo fra i migliori ultra-grandangolari, soprattutto se utilizzato da f:5,6 in poi, apertura da cui sparivano le aberrazioni cromatiche.
E' piuttosto ricercato anche ai nostri giorni proprio per l'uso su mirrorless.

Lo zoom SP 80-200/2,8 LD (30A) è stato lo zoom per eccellenza della serie SP Adaptall2, montando lenti LD che favorivano l'elevatissimo controllo delle aberrazioni cromatiche.
Che dire? E' un vero capolavoro!
Ai suoi tempi l'unico concorrente serio (ma non per il prezzo!) era l'80-200/2,8 Nikkor.

Lo zoom Tamron veniva venduto in una bauletto semi-rigido, dotato anche di attacco ad anello per il treppiede.
E' ancora molto ricercato dagli appassionati e i prezzi restano piuttosto elevati.
