Un omaggio doveroso innanzitutto alla “mia” città, legata alle tradizioni come poche altre ancora….Qui ogni veneziano sa vogare (o almeno ha provato almeno una volta nella vita), il commercio soprattutto e lo svago, nei secoli scorsi, ruotava attorno al remo, uomini e donne tutti…..barche a motore non ne esistevano e tutta la laguna era “vogabile”, non vi era altro modo….qualche barca a vela a parte….
Un ulteriore omaggio alle donne alla voga, qui rappresentate dalla società remiera Viva Voga Veneta di cui allego il link vivavogaveneta.org/, società nata e fondata alcuni anni fa per volontà di 5 donne che “…accomunate da una forte passione per la voga alla veneta….” hanno voluto iniziare questa loro avventura, portando negli anni molte altre donne a scoprire questo fantastico mondo, unico al mondo.
I regatanti che partecipano al corteo della Regata Storica, per tradizione sono vestiti in bianco (esclusi ovviamente i figuranti delle varie Bissone, ma questa è un'altra storia….), da qui la mia scelta per il Jura contest sul bianco….
