Nasim Mansurov, titolare del sito, gli l'ha affidata per una prova. e lui ho pensato:
"When I offered to review the Nikon Coolpix P900 for Photography Life, I told Nasim I felt like a comedian rooting for Sarah Palin to become president so he'd have four more years of material. C'mon, 24-2000mm zoom combined with a 1:2.3” sensor? The comedic potential seemed endless. But what if it didn't suck?"
Poi però l'ha trovata meno peggio di quanto si aspettasse. Naturalmente ha rilevato i limiti di un sensore di 1:2.3 che non produce Raw; tuttavia le sue conclusioni sono:
"The Nikon P900 is a camera that tries to do everything from macro to supertelephoto, and does a surprising number of things well. With its 24-2000mm equivalent zoom, it doesn't just replace a whole bag of lenses, it replaces a trunkful. Bird watchers who are not looking forward to spending a ton of money on big and heavy gear will be delighted by this camera. It's best for people who shoot JPEG (no RAW available) and who's primary output is web-sharing or prints no bigger than 8”x10”. If you plan on printing bigger than 11”x14” or simply delight in viewing your files at 100%, this is definitely not the camera for you.
The 24-2000mm equivalent lens, the longest zoom of its kind, exceeds expectations; though to achieve such a huge zoom range in such a compact lens, it needs to be paired with a small 1:2.3” sensor. This small sensor primarily limits its low-light performance – it's preferable to use a tripod rather than resort to speeds above ISO 800. The amazing telephoto range suggests this would be good for wildlife and sports. However, it is very slow to use in PSA or M modes and even in Auto, the long shutter lag and lazy zoom speed is a real drag. This doesn't do well for quick moving subjects, hence for sports or wildlife it's a poor choice. But for slower long-distance subjects, say celebrity cellulite on the beach, the P900 will do the trick. For most everything else, from close-ups of flowers to detailed shots of the moon, it produces nice results and you don't have to hassle with changing lenses or cleaning sensors.
The Nikon P900 is a helluv fun to shoot in point-and-shoot mode, and I'll be a little sad to return my review copy." |

Coi tricorder di Star-trek questo e altro.
Però reindirizzano i raggi luminosi con campi di forza invece di far ricorso al vetro ottico; e fanno uso di sensori vulcaniani che possono salire a un milione di Iso senza rumore visibile. |

Ho preso una Panasonic invece della P900, poiché la Pana ha lo schermo rivoltabile verso il soggetto. In caso di filmati "fai da te", è utilissimo. |

Strana questa notizia dal momento che nikon aveva abbandonato la serie DL delle bridge superzoom praticamente un floppettone clamoroso e ora ci riprova con una superzoom ancor più esagerata? |

dove lavoravo prima avevamo la p900 ed era molto divertente. lo stabilizzatore era efficace anche ad 83x .
Sulla galleria qui su juza vedo foto molto belle, stento quasi a crederci. Se questa nuova offrisse prestazioni anche uguali e mantenesse lo stesso prezzo posso considerare di comprarla per le gite |

se il sensore è sempre quello da 1,2/3 tanto vale una compatta superzoom tascabile a questo punto tipo lumix tz80 o nikon s9900 che hanno zoom 30x (24-720mm e 25-750). Le bridge pesano, ingombrano e alcune costano come una reflex |

Vero.. ma alcuni pesantissimi bestioni mi hanno impressionato.. Vedi l'ultima Sony.. con tanta luce fa tanta impressione... Ho visto una foto della luna piena fatta a mano libera... meglio dello scatto postato dall'astrofisico di Asiago!! (strumento nato per spettrografia e foto a largo campo) |

3000mm altro che cavalletto... se l'appoggio anche per terra mi fa micromosso a causa del movimento di rotazione della terra!!!
Comunque in generale odio i superzoom... anche perché scattare già a 500 mm con un coso del genere è normalmente inutile (sono macchine da turista di solito) figuriamoci a 3000 |

Il vecchio modello la p900 è moto apprezzata da chi pratica birdwatching, ai cannocchiali/binocoli Swarovski affiancano macchine come questa, c'è l'ha un mio amico e credetemi che non è davvero male. |

In certe condizioni da filo da torcere al sigma 150/600 S su 7d2 
Lo stabilizzatore è molto valido
L'unica cosa negativa è la qualità costruttiva e anche l'ergonomia dei comandi
Avendo una mano molto ferma si puo tentare di scendere a 1/30 a mano libera a 83x
È chiaro che bisogna considerarla come un bel giocattolo,per divertirsi.... non ci si può asperttare nulla di professionale... ma tante belle foto sì
