Le vecchie glorie russe, per quanto affascinanti, sono quasi tutte dei tarocchi di prodotti tedeschi. Leica prima, poi Zeiss, e in seguito Rollei e anche la svedese Hasselblad.

Il consiglio che posso darti è di settare la larghezza della colonna principale a 900px. Era più o meno uno standard prima delle media queries.
Se disponi già di molti contenuti fai prima a rifare direttamente tutto il sito, magari con un CMS come WordPress che è ottimo e facile da usare/aggiornare/gestire! Buona fortuna

Ti ringrazio Stefano, ma ho già dato...
900px è proprio un francobollo!
Ho usato Magix Web Designer, che in apparenza è semplice, ma ha comunque grossi limiti, e la resa delle foto è piuttosto penosa. Non sono (più) webdesigner, e quindi faccio fatica a fare questi lavori. L'avevo fatto agli albori, quando non si batteva chiodo, 20 anni fa, ma erano altri tempi e altre tecnologie. Ora è tutto diverso e (per me) più complicato.
E' andata così, accontentiamoci... ;-)
