Premetto che non conosco l'obiettivo Sigma in questione, ma se avendolo sentissi la necessità di abbinargli un extender 1,4 X istintivamente (come si suol dire: senza sapere né leggere né scrivere) mi orienterei sul Sigma ...

P.S. Avevo il 500 4,5 per Canon e usavo un sigma 1,4 con il nastro sui contatti

@Conte Marconi...non è proprio così... Lo si cerca usato se possibile...e la modifica è banale...si smonta la baionetta...si sega il dentello di metallo...e si rimonta la baionetta...è un blocco "meccanico" che si è inventata Nikon x far agganciare il TC solo alle sue ottiche AFS...una volta tolto il dentello...puoi agganciare il TC anche ad ottiche motorizzate di terze parti.
Certo...se il TC è nuovo decade la garanzia...ma ancor meglio acquistare sulla baia una baionetta vergine...o una già modificata...e la si monta su mantenendo il pezzo originale e la garanzia...;-)

Ho letto diverse recensioni del sigma in questione, non digerisce i molti più per un blocco del firmware che hardware Cool Altrimenti come facevano a vendere il bigma...

Da quel che avevo letto però con il kenko 1.4 dovrebbe funzionare

Oddio ... ma con una luminosità inferiore a f 5,6 (fatte salve rarissime eccezioni) l'AF lo perdi comunque, mentre invece la maggiore tolleranza, quantomeno teorica, fra pezzi di uno stesso sistema dovrebbe in ogni caso far pendere l'ago della bilancia a favore dell'extender Sigma.

L'ho provao con punto singolo di maf a f7,1 e f8.

io avevo provato il sigmone 500 con il moltiplicatore sigma 1,4x proprio con D750. L'AF non funzionava. Non so perché, non ho indagato perché non era mio.

ho cercato ora sul sito sigma: non si può moltiplicare (almeno con il suo moltiplicatore originale)

Che palle.... ho preso una lente da oltre 4000 euro, un sogno... ho un 500... e non posso moltiplicarlo...

dovro' comprare una dx.... magari la d500, spendere altri 2000 euro, chissà quando...
