Si si tratta della prima serie... 400 f/2,8 L USM
L'ottica è fantastica, unico contro è il peso.... davvero notevole ma considerando che scatto esclusivamente da treppiede non mi crea problemi.
Per il resto nonostante l'età va una meraviglia!!!
Chi lo aveva, prima di vendermelo, lo ha portato all'assistenza ufficiale Canon per fare una pulizia interna e un controllo generale.....risultato... nessun tipo di problema!!!
Provato con 1Ds Mark II e con 7D.... strabiliante in entrambi i casi ma secondo me migliore con la 1 Ds.

Per quanto riguarda la compatibilità con gli extender sapete dirmi qualcosa a riguardo??

Si, io lo uso con l' 1.4x seconda versione. A parte un problema di front focus che ho riscontrato (spero sia quello) riesco comunque a tirare fuori roba decente.
