L'ho avuto per un pò di anni e l'ho sostituito con il 2,8 IS perchè volevo un maggiore sfocato e la stabilizzazione.
E' un gioiellino, nitidissimo e leggero, perfettamente usabile già a partire da tutta apertura.
Per le foto a teatro e con poca luce credo che lo stabilizzatore sia un plus a cui puoi anche rinunciare, se i soggetti sono in movimento dovrai comunque usare tempi sufficientemente veloci per congelarli e l'IS diventerà quasi superfluo, meglio alzare gli ISO. Con un monopiede, come ti hanno già detto, potrai scendere parecchio sotto il tempo di sicurezza e l'unica discriminante sarà la velocità relativa dei soggetti.

Ho una 6D. Ho avuto il 70-200 f 4 NON IS. L'ho tenuto qualche settimana. Dopo aver provato l' IS, ho fatto uno sforzo e ho dato dentro il non-stabilizzato per prendere l'IS.
Credo che la differenza ci sia e credo che conti. Oltre tutto la versione stabilizzata non pesa troppo e sulla 6D è ben bilanciato.Lo stabilizzatore è leggermente rumoroso, ma funziona davvero: uno zoom dal quale non ci si separa più, una volta fatto il salto di prezzo. Direi che è una delle ottiche 'definitive' che ho.

Ciao! Io ho la 6D come te e anche io vorrei venderlo per prendermi il fratello IS oppure il 70-300L, sono molto indeciso! In più a martellarmi in testa c'è anche un bel Tamron 150-600! Non so veramente dove battere la testa!
