Ok, ricordo alcune foto di Edward Weston che mi hanno impressionato fin dalla prima volta che le ho viste (ai tempi delle scuole superiori); conoscevo già Weston e molte delle sue foto, nudi ecc., ma quelle che mi colpirono furono soprattutto alcune foglie di cavolo

Ritratte come se fossero immagini di moda o glamour, e quelle di peperoni

che rievocano addirittura gli studi di figure maschili di Michelangelo.
D'accordo che quella di Weston era l'epoca in cui i personaggi dei fumetti erano animali "antropomorfizzati", ma la sua capacità di reinterpretare semplici ortaggi lasciava sbalorditi.

Gordon Parks su tutti, i suoi scatti sono quelli che più mi hanno emozionato.
Il suo modo di raccontare, diretto, mai scontato...
Tutta la serie American Gothic, ad esempio...posto uno scatto (ma potrei metterne decine):
