Col senno del poi, avremmo potuto provare anche il 70-300 con l'1,4XIII, magari anche solo col fuoco manuale.
Lo so che diventa un f8, però se 7D MkII tollera gli f8 come la 5D MkIII, non sarebbe nemmeno un dramma................. MrGreen

Io avevo il 70-200 f4 IS USM, poi mia moglie prese il 70-300L. Dopo un mese di prove in tutte le situazioni vendetti il 70-200 senza nessun rimpianto, benché rimanga un'ottima lente. Non mi stancherò mai di ripetere che il 70-300L è una lente sottovalutata e io sono abituato bene con altre lenti. Non vedo l'ora di vedere un confronto con il nuovo 100-400, perlomeno fino a 300 sono convinto che siano lì.

Attenzione perchè duplicare un f4 è una cosa e duplicare un f 2,8 serie II è un'altra, detto ciò una lente liscia è sempre una lente liscia..... ;-)

Scusate ma il 70-300L è compatibile con i moltiplicatori? Perché sulla sezione recensioni c'è scritto di no!

Ufficialmente non lo è perchè alle focali inferiori la lente posteriore dell'obbiettivo impatta su quella sporgente del 1,4 o 2X, tuttavia, se proprio servono più mm., si possono montare entrambi i moltiplicatori, ma la focale minima diventa superiore a quello che ci si aspetterebbe ed il range di focali diventa circa 350-420mm con l'1,4X e 500-600mm con l'2x.
