Il teoria aggiornamenti SW anche importanti dovrebbero essere relativamente facili e non troppo costosi se in fase di progetto processori e memoria sono stati sovradimenzionati e quindi c'è a disposizione una potenza maggiore di quella già impegnata.

Credo che presto sapremo se quando hanno progettato la OM-1 i tecnici di OM System hanno pensato soltanto a ridurre all'osso i costi oppure se pensando al futuro hanno preventivato un buon margine per consentire importanti miglioramenti via firmware e allungare la vita ad una fotocamera per farla così entrare di diritto nel segmento professionale...
