Io ho fatto focus stacking con file da 96 Mpixel (parecchi MB solo i raw), processo che richiede moltissime risorse, dall'allineamento, alla eventuale correzione delle distorsioni/vignettatura, a sopratutto l'individuazione delle zone a fuoco. Tutti insieme i file è infattibile sul mio PC ma 2 alla volta nessun problema, però ho un notebook di fascia media (forse medio/bassa) di 5 anni fa.
Stacking di 3 foto senza problemi.
Il tiff si può salvare e procedere nelle elaborazioni pesanti andando ad unificare i livelli. Sinceramente non vedo tutti questi problemi per elaborazioni foto per foto, discorso diverso è per professionisti che lavorano in batch.
