@Raffaele 72: il diametro di 120 mm si riferisce al diametro dei filtri. Il diametro dell'11 CA è di circa 125 mm (l'ho misurato sull'interno del tappo, i becchi del mio calibro sono troppo corti). Guardando meglio nel sito che hai indicato, il catadiottrico raffigurato e designato MTO 1000mi sembra quello più vecchio (con attacco M39), è diverso dal mio, che invece è uguale a quello del video postato da DrakeRnC (quello più piccolo, naturalmente).
Confermo. Dell'11CA esiste anche una versione più vecchia che è quella raffigurata nel sito da te indicato. Ho scritto per avere conferma che il loro anello è adatto anche per la versione successiva.

Qui penso cambi anche abbastanza lo schema ottico, visto che non ha il secondario alluminato direttamente sul menisco, ma lo ha separato (tipo il Samyang 800, per capirci).
Drake in verità è il 500 MTO, ma so ancora poco perché ho chiamato RCE per alcuni cambi e avanzando soldi gli ho detto di mettermi un catadiottrico.....almeno ci giocavo un po' dato che mi affascina il mondo dei catadiottrici. Dovrebbe arrivare giorno 4 perché domani non consegnano (che palle) :(
Attenzione ...tanto per citare un caso, il Vixen VMC110L costa, o costava, poco più di 200 euro, si trova anche usato, è molto più leggero e maneggevole del MTO1000, nasce come telescopio ma basta un semplice adattatore per fissarlo su qualunque macchina. Si può usare a fuoco diretto o con oculare. In quest'ultimo caso ci vuole un raccordo in più ma si possono raggiungere ingrandimenti fortissimi. Come ha scritto qualcun altro forse a meno di 100 euro ne vale la pena, ma non oltre.
