stavo per venderlo per necessità esclusivamente economiche... per fortuna ho risolto e posso tenermi questo che secondo me è uno degli obiettivi NIkon recenti migliori per qualità d'immagine e facilità, praticità di utilizzo...
ho trovato questo ottimo ed esaustivo test in rete

consiglio di guardare tutte le foto nei commenti e sopratutto i Ritratti ;-)

Salve a tutti. Ho appena preso il suddetto 300 pf. E´il mio primo supertele di questo tipo e sto facendo i primi test in paranoia-mode.
E´normale che focheggiando un soggetto vicino in AF-C e passando di colpo su un soggetto molto lontano l´ÁF non agganci? Passando a soggetti piu´distanti gradualmente non c´e´problema. Passando da soggetti molto lontani a soggetti molto vicini e´anche ok. Lo monto su una D500. Grazie per le eventuali risposte! :)

Vado a memoria perché ho cambiato brand, però me lo ricordo veloce anche sulla vetusta D800, con la tua dovrebbe essere molto reattivo anche in afc, poi bisogna vedere cosa intendi, non ti aspettare da 0 a infinito come fosse una lente grandangolare.
Migliora con l'af singolo?

E´molto reattivo. Il problema (non so se e´effettivamente un problema :) ) c´e´se sono a fuoco ad esempio su un fiore a 3 m e tenendo premuto il pulsante di messa a fuoco, in AF C, single point, vado di colpo su un palazzo a 30 metri.

A me non ha mai “agganciato” nessun autofocus se sto fotografando un gatto a due metri e vado al volo ad un elicottero che mi passa sulla testa. A meno che non sia un 20mm.

Salve,ho il vecchio afs 300 mm che uso molto per fotografare i fiori,qualcuno ha provato a fare un confronto con il nuovo 300?lo sfuocato com'è? Mi tenterebbe fare il cambio x il peso ma ho letto pareri discordanti sullo sfuocato...
Con il TC 1.4x II come va?

Capisco Domenik anche se non sono convinto... a me comunque potrebbe anche andare bene nella vita reale, solo mi piacerebbe sapere da qualcuno che ha il 300 pf se ha lo stesso comportamento. Sapete com'è... ho preso questo obiettivo nuovo e se c'è qualcosa che non va mi piavcerebbe saperlo finchè sono in tempo... :-P

Ho provato oggi e anche il mio fa come dici, però non ha senso passare da 3 m di MAF a 30 senza alzare il dito.
Se alzi il dito e ripremi (io uso AF-ON) riprende il fuoco in un attimo.
Se parzializzi il campo di MAF da 3 a infinito invece il problema (ammesso lo sia) non si presenta.

Controlla pure il lock on com'è impostato come ti dicevano sopra.

Per @Michela ho avuti entrambe le ottiche anche io e come resa colori preferivo il vecchio, il pf è più neutro e meno carico però come nitidezza meglio il nuovo, reggeva bene il tce17 come l'afs, forse un po' meglio .
È la lente Nikon che vorrei su fuji.
Lo sfocato è bello a parte i cerchietti a cipolla sui punti luminosi nello sfondo che a qualcuno danno fastidio.
Per ritratti mille volte meglio il pf, una nitidezza impressionante.
