Ciao a tutti,

dopo lunga attesa è finalmente arrivato lo zummino 2x per Nikon F (c'è stato un disguido postale).
L'ho acquistato più che altro per curiosità, volevo vedere come poteva essere uno zoom concepito quasi 60 anni fa.
Progettato da Higuchi Takashi consta di 9 elementi suddivisi in 7 gruppi per 410g di peso.
Esteticamente è molto bello, piccolino, meccanicamente perfetto, con meccanismo monoghiera (spostamento avanti e indietro per variare la focale e rotazione per la messa a fuoco). E' stato commercializzato nel 1963 e prodotto nella sua prima versione fino al 1976 e poi per altri due anni in una versione attualizzata. Per maggiori dettagli rimando alla pagina Nikon:

Dopo averlo ordinato, ho scoperto che per il nostro amico Ken è la peggior lente prodotta da Nikon ...
Vabbè, niente di grave... la curiosità è comunque rimasta intatta.
Sembra ci sia addirittura un esclusivissimo club 43-86. Per l'iscrizione rivolgersi a Jacopo

Ma come va? Beh, che dire? L'ho provato un pochino solo oggi, ma va detto subito che i suoi bei difettucci li ha. La parte centrale dell'immagine a diaframmi ottimali (f/8 e f/11) non è per nulla malaccio, ma i bordi scadono subito. A tutta apertura la resa risulta piuttosto scarsa, forse addirittura inutilizzabile o appena passabile per stampe piccole.

I flares innanzitutto: praticamente l'ho preso per quelli. Poi gli enormi cali di contrasto e le invasioni di velature in controluce, i colori pastello ed il basso contrasto, la forma e la costruzione stupenda ( e' bellissimo ). Aspetta che son col cellulare, adesso provo a mettere una immagine in b/n ....

Va' che bellezza: su D700 ad f 3.5.
Ho aggiunto un neutro polaroid di scarsa qualita' e dalla grossissima flangia per la vignettatura.

In teoria, il rivestimento ambrato dovrebbe massimizzare la resa in bianconero, perche' fa passare tutta la luce blu ( fonte ken rockwell ).

P.S. il riflesso esagonale lo facevano anche le lenti della mia Pentax MX degli anni 70
