In pratica e' molto buono a TA (nitido), anche con TC-14EIII, qualche problemino con il VR che a quanto pare e' un po' inconsistente. La velocita' di messa a fuoco (liscio) e' pari a quella del 600 F4 VR (0,459 secondi da infinito), niente male direi. Promette molto bene.
Dai video su youtube l'AF sembra molto veloce. Piuttosto il VR sembra creare qualche problemino alla nitidezza ma solo nel video postato da Banjo. Altre lamentele non ne ho lette. Come dicevo in un altro topic io spero che al 500 faccia seguito anche il 600 f5.6 con attacco standard e non Z. 200-500 f5.6 e 600 f5.6 sarebbero per me un ottima accoppiata su D750
Penso che l'anno prossimo usciranno ancora nuove reflex, professionali e non, magari non tipo la D850, ma una D6 la faranno, probabile. Anche in Canon uscirà una 1DXMKIII.
L'AF è velocissimo, neppure confrontabile con quello del 200-500. Io ho dovuto, comunque, effettuare la microtaratura dell'AF con la D500 e valore ottimale è risultato essere +5.
Il VR a me sembra che funzioni bene e le foto a fuoco risultano visibilmente più nitide di quelle fatte con lo zoom 200-500. Non ho ancora provato a scattare senza VR e quindi non so se la nitidezza cala col VR. Se calasse inserendo il VR vorrebbe dire che, senza stabilizzatore, la lente sarebbe veramente mostruosa come nitidezza.
Per quanto riguarda le foto a fuoco, il guadagno maggiore l'ho notato in particolare con gli uccelli in volo e la ricerca automatica del punto di fuoco, soggetti che con il 200-500 non venivano sempre così ben a fuoco. Col 500 PF gli scarti sono decisamente pochi.
Con i soggetti fermi e il punto centrale la percentuale di scatti a fuoco sono circa pari a quelli ottenuti col 200-500, forse addirittura un po' meno, a causa del fatto che l'AF del 500 è anche troppo reattivo e basta spostare leggermente il punto dal soggetto che il fuoco cambia immediatamente. L'AF dello zoom ha più inerzia e quindi, anche se il punto si sposta un po' dal soggetto, prima che l'AF agisca ci vuole più tempo.
