Ciao a tutti,
sono nuovo del forum anche se seguo da tempo i vostri ottimi consigli e recensioni!

Possiedo una Canon 700D ed il 17-55 f/2.8 e sono alla ricerca di un tele un po' più spinto.
Ho letto pareri positivi sull' EF 85mm f/1.8, che tra l'altro ha un prezzo abbordabile e mi darebbe un equivalente di circa 135mm.
Mi chiedevo se ci fossero particoli controindicazioni nell'utilizzare questo obiettivo per FF su una macchina col sensore APS-C o se invece fosse un acquisto sensato.

Va molto bene anche su apsc e rimane gestibile con tempi moderatamente brevi. Soffre di purple fringing a ta in certe situazioni di luce, migliora chiudendo di uno stop ed eccelle ad f4. Leggero ed autofocus veloce, prendi anche un paraluce...

La mia ragazza ne ha preso uno ad un mercatino fotografico a 200euro. Io l'ho pagato da un privato 250.. Per il costo che ha offre ottime prestazioni

85mm f1.8, Ottimo anche secondo me (lo posseggo).

“ Una controindicazione la darei al paraluce originale, che è una porcheria. Molto meglio prenderne uno di gomma a vite. „

non sono d'accordo...
è soltanto un paraluce con un attacco un po' diverso dal solito. io lo trovo anche più comodo di quelli a vite incastro (tipo quello del 50mm 1.4 per intenderci).

Prendi il 100 f2 se lo trovi usato, ti darà tante soddisfazioni.
L'85 per me è troppo vicino alla focale 55 dello zoom.

Pur essendo vicino (ma neanche tanto) come focale la resa è ben diversa. Per il paraluce.. me lo hanno venduto con un paraluce di gomma a vite. Brutto e scomodo, inoltre perde la capacità di protezione dagli urti accidentali che offre l'originale, rigido. Ordinato l'originale immediatamente MrGreen

Posseduto con paraluce di terze parti, bella lente, rivenduta per poco utilizzo ma che ogni tanto mi manca, a TA un po' di purple fingering, ma mai stato un problema, a f2 già scompariva

Il mio è ottimo da f 2.2.

Se ti serve quella focale (equivalente) non vedo controindicazioni.

Col 100mm devi avere a disposizione molto spazio su apsc.
