Salve a tutti, come da titolo vorrei chiedere a voi una questione che mi passa per la testa da un po'.
Purtroppo mi trovo a dover sostituire il caro 85 1.4 D causa caduta.
Sono indeciso tra le due lenti in questione con i pro e i contro tra esse.
Diciamo che sono orientato più sul Nikon che sul sigma per via della compatibilità dell'accoppiata lente/macchina e la conseguente velocità di autofocus dovuta a essa.
Ho avuto modo di provare il nikon e ne sono rimasto contento, anche se il sigma mi attira per il prezzo. Vorrei chiedere a chi possiede queste lenti, come si trova con l'autofocus di entrambe e se hanno riscontrato problemi o altro.

Otticamente la superiorità non si discute, per l'AF non so ma non mi risulta che su Nikon ci siano i problemi che si incontrano su Canon.

Salve, intende i problemi di Back e/o Front focus a 1.4 su Canon!?!
Si otticamente il sigma è una spanna sopra il nikon questo è vero, e il prezzo è anche migliore.
Ci sto pensando bene :-)

AL posto dell'85 1.4d vuoi prendere il g? io penso che la resa dell'85d anche se meno contrastato e piu' morbido sia inarrivabile da entrambe le lenti, anche lo sfuocato e' incredibile, fossi in te riprenderei il D

Ancora con questa resa morbida...
Se di vuole la resa morbida, quella volta che serve, basta aggiungere un filtro flou (e non dico il Softon B+W che costa troppo e serve per scopi mirati... dico il più scarso che trovi) e di morbidezza se ne ottiene pure troppa e quando poi vuoi un obiettivo serio il filtro lo smonti!

Se ingombri e pesi possono essere un problema "ripiegherei" sull'f1,8 AFS G, altrimenti Sigma ART senza ombra di dubbio.

Per quanto non abbia mai provato nemmeno di striscio il D, avendo sia l'85/1,4 AIS sia il Sigma Art, propenderei per la teoria del BestMarietto.

Problemi di compatibilità tra corpo Nikon e Sigma non ce ne sono e salvo clamorose sfighe tutto si risolve con qualche ora persa con la dock usb a tarare la lente. Io in un paio d'ore me la son cavata.

Grazie a tutti per le risposte. Ammetto che sono più indeciso di prima, per quanto riguarda il peso non è un problema, penso che opterò per l'85 art :-) visto la nuova concezione di lenti.

Allora ART, senza ombra di dubbio, è eccellente sia come qualità ottica che costruttiva e costa anche molto meno

Se portati dietro una lente che pesa 600 grammi in più non è un problema, prendersi il sigma. Altrimenti il nikon, che personalmente ho e apprezzo molto. 600 grammi per la stessa apertura sono semplicemente troppi...

85 Af d 1.4 senza dubbio....
Ma le vedete le foto che si fanno con questa lente ?
La perfezione ottica a cui tanto si aspira oggi mi fa sorridere ..
Si finisce sempre lí.
Beati quelli che cercano solo la nitidezza ... non hanno che l'imbarazzo della scelta con Signa art et similia.
