Buonasera,vorrei sapere se vale ancora la pena fare un upgrade del canon 18-55 is stm con i soliti obiettivi tipo tamron 17-50 o sigma 17-50 ,se non per l'involucro esterno,dato che l'ultimo zoom del kit è stato migliorato rispetto ai modelli precedenti.

Evidentemente,data l'assenza di risposte deduco, come dice il proverbio, che ora come ora l'unico miglioramento si può avere soltanto con il 17.55!

f2.8 costante vs f3.5-5.6. La differenza è qui più che nell'involucro esterno.

Se conviene lo puoi sapere solo tu. Se ci sono delle caratteristiche in vantaggio dei più luminosi è innegabilmente vero anche se, con il 18-55is ed ora con gli stm, le differenze si stanno assottigliando ma... è vero che gli anni passano per tutti e quello che qualche tempo fa costava 600€ (sigma) ora ne costa circa 300.

Il Tamron esiste anche in versione VC stabilizzato.
Il discorso f2.8 vs diaframma più chiuso sembra banale ma è l'unico motivo per scegliere questi obiettivi. Il 18-55 STM è comunque nitido, costruito meglio dei predecessori (tipo l'orrido 18-55 non stabilizzato prima serie) e con un AF soddisfacente, probabilmente anche migliore di quello classico del Tamron.
Ma non può fare gli scatti che faresti con un f2.8, punto.

Conosco il Tamron stabilizzato,ma a detta di tanti non è nitido come il fratello.Vorrei soltanto capire se,non considerando la massima apertura (per quello ho il 50.1,8 e l'85 1.8) vale la pena spendere € 300 anzichè € 85.

Vero finchè si scatta con tempi tali per cui lo stabilizzatore non serve (vedi tutti i test di laboratorio).

Se ha senso dipende delle esigenze: un 18-55 non scende a f2.8, un obiettivo fisso non può cambiare focale, uno zoom luminoso costa e pesa.

Parliamo di questo upgrade allora: cosa ti aspetteresti da una lente come il Sigma o Tamron e cosa non ti soddisfa nel 18-55 STM?

Ma si scherzaaaa?..prova a montare un 17-50 f 2.8 o anche lo splendido pankake 24 f 2.8..sono delle lame..ed hai tutta la creatività del 2.8 nello sfocato e stacco dei piani..il 18-55 è un ottica per iniziare..poi il salto a 2.8 lo devi fare..e ti si apre un mondo..dai retta..

Salve a tutti io ho lo stesso dilemma....ho 18 55'stm su canon 700 d..si si comporta egregiamente...passando al sigma 17 50 o meglio ancora al 17 55 canon ..il netto miglioramento si nota ?ne vale la penes spendere 700 e passa euro oppure ,300' per il sigma..faccio foto solo per passatempo
