Pros: All

Cons: Nothing

Opinion: I use it daily in analogue and I have also tried it in digital. Excellent build quality and optics, no aberrations, distortions and very low vignetting, sharp even at TA, bombproof zeiss T* anti-reflective against the light. Some say it's too surgical. In my opinion it is not so, it is very sharp but always with naturalness and character and with that 3d pop zeiss, on analog with the right film the results are impressive and allow large prints, on digital it manages to "keep at bay" the too many megapixels of the m11p.

Pros: Build quality, image quality, mechanical qualities, very small weight and dimensions, what else?

Cons: Lens cap

Opinion: I would have a lot to say about this small-big lens, but in reality few words summarize its undoubted qualities: compactness, weight, image quality. I've often been tempted to sell it to buy a brighter 35mm but I haven't succeeded yet. Not a chance. I state that I am not a lover of superluminous optics because I can not stand being behind chromatic aberrations, purple, green, turquoise fringes and with surgeon's focus. Obviously very personal opinion. This Zeiss is perfect. He never gave me problems and I always found him very reliable. Of course there are those who turn up their noses for the 2.8, but to me it gave me fantastic images, always. Sharp at full aperture, no distortion, no problem in backlight, not at all cold colors (common place to dispel for Zeiss optics). What else to say... An irreplaceable lens for me especially for its portability and yield. If we talk about price then, very difficult, indeed almost impossible to find better. For me, I vote 10 and I am not exaggerating.

Pros: mamma mia that slow .. always very clear ..

Cons: never tried it

Opinion: In its silver version it is also very nice--although this does not count x the photos it churns out has has -jokes aside.. I think he is very similar to his little brother Leica .. The Leica with this lens fits in the pocket of a jacket -- without obvious hood -- really ideal x street photo -- huge flare resistance --I don't usually use the hood just to keep the bike set complete. Last but not least the price, really recommended.

Pros: Very small, very sharp and very precise

Cons: Maximum aperture f2.8

Opinion: Having the barrel full and the wife drunk is difficult but with this Zeiss you have the barrel full and the wife shines. Weight and footprint incredibly reduced so much so that mounted on the Leica M10 transforms it into a compact as dimensions, only 180 gr (without caps) and protrudes from the camera only 3 cm. Mechanically perfect, smooth maf with a fairly contained stroke that allow you in a few moments to go from 0.7 meters to infinity, diaphragms with steps of 1/3 (Zeiss exaggeration) precise, all-metal barrel (even the tab unlike Leica which is usually made of plastic). Let's come to the image quality: to say that it is sharp is reductive, it is on the whole frame since the maximum aperture, non-existent distortion, not exciting bokeh due to the focal length and minimum aperture, but clean, not rough, exceptional contrast and microcontrast, excellent flare resistance, so much so that the hood (not included) is an option that has only an aesthetic value. Colors I read everywhere that Zeiss is characterized by cold colors, I must say that they are not as hot as Leica but they are not cold at all, at least these. I also had the Summicron 35mm f2 Asph and this Zeiss does not disfigure at all considering that new costs 1/4. The only limit is the maximum aperture f2.8, but it is a price to pay for all the qualities mentioned above. In my kit it fits between the Summicron 28mm f2 Asph and the Voigtlander Nokton 50mm f1.2 and is the lens I choose when I want to go out with a single lens, otherwise 28mm and 50mm. Perfect lens for street photography. Highly recommended.

Pros: Compactness, resistance to flare, sharpness, build quality and sturdiness

Cons: Maximum aperture limited to "only" 2.8, lens hood is not included

Opinion: I bought this lens by sheer coincidence, attracted by its size, for a 35 mm to use the Leica M9 waiting to scrape together the money to purchase a Summicron 35 Asph.rnEbbene: this lens not only is fine, but the its use (especially in the street and in the photo reportage) provided me so satisfactory results, in terms of keeping the backlight and contrast, but also for the yield of blurred, that the desire to buy three times more expensive Summicron Asph I completely passed .rnNitida already wide open at any point in the frame. He diaphragms precise focusing fluid and veloce.rnUn little gem, at a price "human" to be mounted on the Leica M.rnrn
