Pros: Very good image quality. High contrast from f/2, even in bad lighting conditions. An excellent lens for night shots.

Cons: Some barrel distortion and some CA, both easily fixed in post-processing.

Opinion: This lens may be less sharp at f/2 than the Samyang 35/1.4 wide open, but contrast is higher, yielding more usable images in my opinion. High contrast and saturated colors are maintained even in poorest lighting conditions, making it a perfect street/night/stage lens. Price is high (as usual with Zeiss) but good copies can be found second hand (as usual too), as these lenses are nearly indestructible. So: excellent value!

Pros: Construction 100% metal (including the lamplight). Fascinating blur. Microcontrast. Chromatic yield. Zeiss Quality

Cons: The full-opening vignette (although it's a contradiction because we often willingly add it in post and then we complain!)

Opinion: The non plus ultra for street photography and set portrait. Even holding it in your hand you can feel the quality and the typical "coldness" Zeiss. Anyone who's tried it knows what I'm talking about. All metal construction, including the lampshade (the best ever touched by me). It would be beautiful as a card clip, but as a lens it is pure enjoyment :) The manual focus, then, especially in a medium-wide lens like this, is fun. It has a long, soft die just right. Very precise. Microcontrast and bokeh are really super. For me it's the best for b&W as well.

Pros: Sharpness, color rendition, contrast, maf manual excellent, excellent construction

Cons: weight, cost

Opinion: I watched and studied not know how many reviews of this lens and I finally decided to buy it. My choice is to mount it on a Canon 500D and I must say, Zeiss made me do a considerable leap forward. I am convinced that a good photograph does not necessarily depend on the equipment that you own but by the mind of the photographer, but the attention to detail in the image made by Zeiss gives structure and character with every shot. The blur is bewitching. Focus manually and sometimes helps with practice it becomes better and automatically. The 35mm also has the ability to do high-level macro view also the sharpness unattainable. Portraits, reportage, street photography, landscapes, macro, what to ask more? Recommended to all those who want to understand what is photography.

Pros: Impeccable construction, very precise focus, 9-blade diaphragm.

Cons: Light purple flirging only when photographing clouds with the sun behind, appears in a small area if very high contrast, that's all ... nothing serious. Lack tropicalization!

Opinion: Objective fantastic, impeccably built (although the focus ring to focus on is all metal), blurred fantastic. Having the maf minimum 30 cm can make nice macro high detail! Great colors. Heavy for the right balance with the camera body. Very three-dimensional images. The lens hood can remain attached, has a great interior finishing and the snap-on lens is the best I have ever tried. And 'cpu. On full frame I think is the best.
